At only 17-years-old, Nathan Wood-Gordon already has enough quality to enter into the plans of big English clubs. Woolwich, Tottenham and Burnley are already interested in the young Middlesbrough player

Nathan Wood-Gordon is one of the stand-out players of Engish football at the moment. At only 17-years-old, the young, English midfielder has impressed at Middlesbrough, although he has done so in the youth team.

Many already qualify him as the revelation of the English team at the beginning of the 2019-20 season, which has led him to enter the agenda of great teams in the Premier League.

According to the 'Daily Star', Woolwich, Tottenham and Burnley would be interested in the young talent, with the latter being the best positioned club to reach an agreement with Middlesbrough for his definitive transfer.

Wood-Gordon does not know another club in his short career as a professional player and has already played three official meetings with the Under 23 team in what we have of course, in addition to another game with the first team. In total, four official full matches coming out as a starter.

Burnley ready to splash £9million on Middlesbrough centre-back Nathan Wood

SEAN DYCHE is lining up a stunning £9million deal for Middlesbrough youngster Nathan Wood.

The Burnley boss failed in a bid for the 17-year-old during the summer window but is set to return for him in January.

Wood, 17, became Boro’s youngest ever player last season when he featured in an EFL Cup game.

He has also played for England Under-18s and has been tracked by Everton, Tottenham and Woolwich.

But Burnley are at the front of the queue for the teenager, who is son of ex-Boro full-back Dean Gordon - and Dyche is expected to make a renewed bid when the window opens.

Wood is yet to play a game in the Championship this term, however he did feature against Crewe in the League Cup defeat.

And the youngster has also appeared three times for Boro in the Premier League 2 campaign so far.
