Here is the City Sport skrev:
Tottenham Hotspur appoint Jose Lozano to their technical staff

The Spaniard has left his role at Talavera to scout for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur have added a new name to the coaching and technical staff at the club, as confirmed by the man himself.

The man in question is Jose Lozano, who has left his position as Sporting Director with Tercera club Talavera CF in Spain, to take up a role at Hotspur Way.

He has spoken to El Digital Deportivo about his move, stating:

"It was something I could not pass up.

"Just over a year ago I arrived at Talavera CF after being almost unknown in the world of football and only a directive as the set Talavera gave me the opportunity to work on my passion.”

The report claims that Lozano will be given several jobs to conduct at Tottenham.

They state he will scout for recruits for the club in both Spain and Portugal whilst also scout and analyse opponents for the club.

Lozano will of course not be out of place at the club. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is Spanish speaking and the likes of fellow Spaniards Jesus Perez and Toni Jimenez, as well as another Argentine in Miguel D’Agostino, will help him feel at home.

He’ll likely work very closely however with Paul Mitchell, Head of Recruitment and Analysis at the club, specialising in work in the Iberian Peninsula.

Tottenham will hope that Lozano can help uncover some gems for the future to go with the ones they already possess.

L'Equipe say that Tottenham Hotspur have adopted the approach of taking a specialist recruiter on in France, they don't explain when this was but make it sound very recent and state that Spurs follow other top Premier League clubs in doing such a thing. The idea is to help Tottenham get ahead of competition and see potential transfers earlier, like a super-scout, and then use their knowledge to help get deals done. Blanc Hart Lane could be on the way.

Tottenham Academy@thfcacademy
I hear there has been a change of staff in the academy: Dean Rastrick is the new Academy Director, John McDermott is now technical director.

Tottenham Academy@thfcacademy
Rastrick was previously 'Head of Academy Operations & Performance' at Spurs, McDermott's number two.

The Guardian skrev:
Mauricio Pochettino hands new role to Tottenham coach John McDermott

Daniel Levy has confirmed that John McDermott, the Tottenham Hotspur head of coaching and development, has taken on the responsibility of overseeing every age group at the club below first-team level.

McDermott, who has been a target for Manchester United, has built his reputation as a shrewd judge of young players at the club’s academy and he has developed a close working relationship with the manager, Mauricio Pochettino, and the head of recruitment, Paul Mitchell.

Sky Sports skrev:
Tottenham to appoint Steve Hitchen as chief scout - Sky sources

Tottenham are set to appoint Steve Hitchen as chief scout, Sky sources understand.

Hitchen previously worked as a scout for Spurs under former manager Harry Redknapp and returns for a second stint as the north London side re-adjust their scouting operation.

Hitchen will take over from Ian Broomfield, who left at the end of his contract in December.

Most recently, Hitchen was co-head of recruitment at Derby alongside former Spurs scout Rob Mackenzie, but he left after Nigel Pearson was sacked as manager.

Former Blackburn player Hitchen was head of European scouting for Queens Park Rangers before he joined the Rams in 2016, and was based in France for many years.

Hitchen worked at Liverpool when the Reds signed Luis Suarez and also played a role in Spurs' decision to sign Luka Modric.

Spurs are still considering whether to hire a new head of recruitment to replace Paul Mitchell, who announced his resignation last summer. Mitchell is still seeing out a period of notice.

Interessant at vi tar tilbake en kar som stakk. Helt greit for meg. Redknapp var tydelig fornøyd med fyren den gang. Comolli også som tok han med seg.

Croydon Advertiser skrev:
Exclusive: Ex-Crystal Palace assistant may be offered Tottenham role just a month after Eagles exit

Former Crystal Palace assistant boss Keith Millen could be offered a quick return to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Croydon-born man, who left his role at Selhurst Park last month after more than four years, has wasted little time in getting back out on the training pitch.

Millen has been going into Spurs' training base in Essex to work with the club's academy setup alongside friend John McDermott, and has also managed to have conversations with first team coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Millen, speaking exclusively to the Advertiser, is relaxed about his next move and is planning on a family holiday next week before reviewing anything on the table with the Premier League title contenders.

"I am doing a little bit of work at Tottenham, just coaching with the U18s," he said.

"The head of coaching there, John McDermott, I have known since my Watford days, so I spoke to him about it.

"It was just good to go over there to see the training ground and to just experience the environment of how they work.

"I have had a bit of contact with Mauricio Pochettino and the first team, just to pick their brains just a little bit and to just do a bit of coaching to get me back out on the grass."

Do not miss the full exclusive with Millen on the back page of Friday's Croydon Advertiser, as he also speaks for the first time about his departure from Palace.
